What customers say

“The service was nothing but first class from the start. Connor the sales rep was very casual but super thorough. Not your typical pushy sales guy. He sat down with us and gave us a great presentation at the time of the estimate reviewing all the options. Keith and his crew showed up a couple weeks later and did a phenomenal job with our roofs. They were all very polite and friendly. The crew knocked out our roofs in 7 hours and aside from the new look you can't even tell they were here. They did a great job protecting our property during the construction and cleaning up when they were done. I couldn't ask for better service. I will be a customer for life. You should be too. Ohh and did I mention a 50 year warranty? Yes, 50 years! Thank you to the entire Team!”

“I wish I could give them MORE stars!!!! Exceptional customer service, quality of work, promptness, cleanliness of site, attention to detail and overall communication. I only wish I could hire these guys for literally everything related to our house! Note: They replaced the roof on our historic barn a few years ago, and this week - in 9 degree weather - replaced the roof on the wrap around porch of our historic home. Incredible work ethic, supervisor and work team. One of a kind. Hire them immediately.”

“TL;DR: listen to what local contractors and homeowners say in private, and do not trust this company. They may make the initial experience "shiny" but do not stand behind their low-quality work. I had Vaillancourt install a roof on my 250 year old home in May 2.5 years ago, with the goal of addressing issues with ice dams and a roofing leak on one corner of the . This was something I communicated very clearly to the "sales engineer" and showed him pictures of the issues I was seeing. They reassured me that they would make sure the roof was solid, and put down extra ice shield (with significant upcharge) across the entire roof at my request. They rushed the $30K overpriced job, and the foreman even said they were hurrying to wrap up a day early. I ended up with roofing nails in my driveway and hanging from the trees. I had to have them come back twice due to detail issues where rain was being redirected into my porch and door. Not an ideal initial experience, but the new roof looked fine. 1.5 years later (the first winter was very mild) during the first real snow I had ice dams and it rained in my kitchen. Icicles 10 times worse than it had been before the new roof, and it had NEVER been bad enough to enter the actual living area. I called Vaillancourt to discuss the issue. "Act of God" and "once in a decade storm" ... did not bother to look at the issues that time. I spent the weekend dealing with ice dams on the roof myself. To be clear: I had a new roof put on by a supposedly well-respected company to address roof integrity issues, and they only made it worse. And blame me. The very next year the issues were even worse, and it's been leaking on and off into the living space for 4 weeks. Again Vaillancourt came by the inspect. This time the gentlemen actually took the time to assess the issue. Clearly the entire solution is leaking, and there is no physical damage, but as installed the roof leaks. Management's response: we are not liable ... we installed the solution we told you would address your issues (but lied), and we don't care that is was the WRONG solution ... install heated roof tapes ... it was your fault for trusting us. When I've mentioned the situation to contractors I trust, I get the same response ... they shake their heads, give a wry smile and say "yep, we get a lot of business fixing Vaillancourt roof issues." Next step for me is to contact a lawyer. And then to climb back up on my roof to try to fix the mess Vaillancourt left behind. To any other Vaillancourt customers I can only say: "Good luck!"”
